The final official numbers weren't in till 2:45am. Romney beat Santorum by EIGHT votes. Paul was a poor third. Gingrich 4th, Perry 5th, Bachman 6th. Herman Cain got 58 votes!
I like Santorum. He doesn't have the skill sets that Perry has to be a great President, but he has the right belief system, if that makes sense. I still prefer Perry, but he didn't commit to going to NH or SC: he said he's going home to TX to figure out his next step. That sounds like he's out.
*sigh*
Why does everything have to be so difficult?
