Obama Enters the Twilight Zone:

Good article. Obama is expected to start campaigning for reelection as soon as he gets back from Hawaii (allegedly tonight), starting with insisting that Congress extend the payroll tax relief from 2 months to 12. Which is, of course, exactly what the Republicans passed and submitted to the Senate for approval, and then were barbecued in the media for fighting for a 12-month relief rather than the 2-month that the Democrats wanted. And when the Republicans yielded, then they were barbecued again. The Democrats keep saying they want to cooperate and work together, but they are lying with every breath they use to say it. To them, compromise means for the Republicans to put on hairshirts with "Welcome" written across their shoulderblades, and then lie prone on the floor.

I don't know how much of America is stupid enough to not realize that the red House has been working as hard as one can imagine, passing bills that would help the economy recover, and every single one of them has gone on to the Senate and been circular-filed. So Obama's reelection plan, to blame everything on a "do-nothing Congress", seems stupid to me. Only HIS party's side of Congress has been refusing to do their job, witness the 900+ days it has been since Congress passed a federal budget.
