Found this at Republican Party Animals. There is a youtube vid in the article. Honestly, this person, and her alleged dozens/hundreds of fellow believers are confident that they can destroy government attempts to unterraform Earth to suit their alien masters by spraying white vinegar into the air with trigger spray bottles.
Best part: these people are, apparently, practically unanimously, devoted followers of the equally delusional Ron Paul.
Yes, yes, I've heard him speak, I've read excerpts from his newsletters. Honestly, while I agree that he has some admirable opinions, such as cutting the federal budget fairly dramatically, and eliminating several cabinet departments that have no Constitutional excuse for existing, such as Education and Energy, and other federal agencies, such as the EPA.
OTOH, Ron Paul's foreign policy positions are indefensible. He wants to bring all our troops home, abandoning all the defensive points all over the world that we have been manning since WW2. He doesn't seem to grasp the inevitable repercussions of this cowardly isolationism: that our enemies would follow us home, and that our next defense of the homeland would be fought on our own ground. This is never a good thing.
He also doesn't seem to grasp that if we abandon our bases in Europe, Korea, Japan and elsewhere around the world, we leave those hosting nations, our allies, nakedly vulnerable to their enemies. They have relied on us for decades, and pulling the rug out from under South Korea, Japan, Germany, Britain and the other nations would result in chaos and violence there as they are attacked by our common enemies.
A President Paul would have us not honor our treaty obligations and not send troops out to assist our allies when they are attacked. Of course, he thinks the jihadi are going to leave us alone if we get off their land. What he doesn't seem to grasp is that they don't hate us because we're free, or because we've got soldiers on land they claim. Islamofascist jihadi hate us because we are not Muslims, and believe that their religion gives them the religious OBLIGATION to kill us all, wherever we may be, whatever we are doing, no matter how nicely we have treated other Muslims.
Paul is also ignorant enough about human nature to not take into account how our one-time allies might react to abandonment. How would you react if a long-time friend, who had been reliable and generous for years, who had fought beside you against a common foe, suddenly went home and refused to help any longer? My guess is that our past allies would turn on us and become foes. It seems inevitable that if the US packed up and went home, shortly thereafter WW3 would be fought on our land, against us, and we would lose, since we would be defending ourselves against the entire world.
So lets not even entertain the idea that he's a viable candidate, okay? We've a delusional President who hates America now; we don't need to elect another!!!
